“Journey from Creative Ideas to Innovative Technologies”
METU Crea*, which creates a bridge between the film, gaming, and wearable technologies industries, is embarking on a journey from creative ideas to innovative technologies together with its
beneficiaries.
In this journey, METU Crea recognizes the power of interdisciplinary communication in developing creative ideas and shapes this vision based on METU’s extensive experience. It acts as a “bridge” facilitating collaborations between SMEs, freelancers, and entrepreneurs in the creative technology field with METU’s subsidiaries: METU Design Factory, GISAM, and ATOM, enabling the realization of innovative concepts.
Aiming to foster a dynamic environment where technology and creativity converge to create future oriented solutions and opportunities, METU Crea seeks to extend its impact beyond academia through strategic partnerships, allowing its beneficiaries to engage with industry giants, tech startups, and creative communities worldwide.
With this purpose in mind, all SMEs, freelancers, and entrepreneurs within the target audience will be able to submit their project proposals, where they can realize innovative concepts in the creative technology field, by 14 March 2024.
Following the preliminary applications, the projects will be reviewed and evaluated by METU Crea experts. Project presentations that meet the application criteria will then be examined and re‐evaluated by the ProjectME Evaluation Committee*. After the evaluation, a shortlist of selected projects will be published on the METU Crea website. Face‐to‐face interviews will be conducted with the owners of the shortlisted projects, and the journey from creative ideas to innovative technologies for the 10 selected projects will begin.
