Crea Talk, one of METU Crea’s key activities that brings together small and medium-sized enterprises, industry professionals, entrepreneurs, and students from creative target sectors, continues with the theme of “Next-Generation Visual Storytelling.”

As one of METU Crea’s informational and networking events, Crea Talk will take place on August 2, 2024, at 10:30 AM at METU Design Factory, featuring the participation of numerous experts, academics, and entrepreneurs from the next-generation film industry.

The guest for this session of Crea Talk will be editor, film producer, and media artist Andreas TRESKE.

The event will kick off with an opening speech by Süleyman DEMİREL from GİSAM, after which ECITE Project Sector Expert Assoc. Prof. Serkan ŞAVK will engage in a conversation with Andreas TRESKE on “next-generation filmmaking and new technologies,” and GİSAM Instructor Süleyman DEMİREL will discuss “next-generation storytelling.”

Following the discussion program, participants will enjoy a fun Pop Quiz, where they can answer light-hearted questions and get to know each other better. During the Pop Quiz, which will take place right after the Crea Talk sessions, participants will compete in groups and have the opportunity to enjoy some entertaining moments. In the Open Mic segment, participants will have 90 seconds to share their ideas about the creative film industry, emerging technologies, and entrepreneurship experiences.
