On November 20th, METU Crea brought together representatives and enthusiasts from the creative industries for the 4th Info Day at the Historical Gasworks Factory, one of İzmir’s unique venues steeped in historical charm. This special day, shaped by inspiring talks, exciting presentations, and enjoyable activities, garnered significant attention.
The event commenced with an opening speech by Prof. Arzu Gönenç Sorguç, exploring the latest trends and perspectives shaping the creative industries. Our experts and guests shared compelling insights on gaming, next-generation visual storytelling, and wearable technologies.
Following presentations on the ECITE Project’s core sectors, participants gathered in the Crea Café area, where they had the chance to engage in one-on-one information exchange and establish new connections. Our sector experts shared their experiences and provided detailed insights into METU Crea’s project evaluation concept, Project ME.
The event also featured a METU Crea classic: a quiz competition that brought moments of friendly rivalry and fun. Later in the day, projects presented as part of Project ME were evaluated by a panel of expert judges.
The event concluded with the Open Mic session, where participants shared their thoughts, wrapping up a day filled with creativity, collaboration, and inspiration.
